The Answer is Right Under Their Noses

‘Think Tank’ be buggered, the idiots are so damned stupid, the answer is right under their noses and I am not talking about a moustache!

‘Legal highs’ must be banned faster claims new report

One in 12 young people in the UK said they had taken legal highs, according to the think tank
Government efforts to clamp down on the sale of dangerous substances – known as legal highs – are failing, a think-tank has warned.
The Centre for Social Justice – set up by Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith – says the UK is a leading hub for selling the drugs online.
Last year, 52 people in England and Wales died after taking legal highs, up from 28 the previous year.
Ministers said they were banning whole groups of drugs to tackle the problem.
The report, No Quick Fix, says legal highs, also known as club drugs including Salvia and Green Rolex, have similar effects to banned drugs, but they can be sold legally as long as they are clearly marked “not for human consumption”.
They are often marketed as bath salts or research chemicals.
The drugs can cause permanent bladder damage, blood poisoning and death.
According to the Centre for Social Justice, there are now more than 130 UK-registered websites selling the products cheaply by mail order.
The report also says there are 250 types of these psychoactive substances in circulation – so many that they now outnumber controlled drugs.
The think-tank said one in 12 young people in the UK said they had taken legal highs – the highest figure in Europe.
In England, 6,486 people were treated in 2011-12 for abusing these types of drugs, an increase of 39% since 2005-06, it said.
CSJ’s policy director, Alex Burghart, said: “Last year, one death every week was related to legal highs – that’s a substantial rise on the year before so we know this is a serious problem.”
‘Faster on its feet’
Opinion:
There is a quick fix answer, and it’s so bloody obvious.
Decriminalise all drugs!
If drugs had never been criminalised, so called ‘legal highs’ would never have existed, there would never have been a need for them.
These ‘think tank’ types are nothing but a bunch of wankers who can’t see outside the frickin box.
If you decriminalise all drugs, ‘legal highs’ just disappear because people don’t want them, the people know they are too dangerous. But they are driven to them because ‘safer’ drugs aren’t available.
Think tank… they couldn’t think if their pathetic lives depended on it!
You never heard of “52, nor 28 the previous year dying” of cannabis, and probably not of heroin either. You also probably never heard of figures like “one in twelve high school kids” trying cannabis either.
Bunch of stupid bastards… I don’t know why I even spend my time writing about them.

According to the Mail On-line on William and Kate’s baby:
“It is believed the Royal Baby could result in a £250 million boost for Britain’s shops.”
This is an obvious turn for the British economy, the Royals need to have more babies!
It is up to the Royal Family to ensure England stays afloat.
Keep the Royals pregnant!

It appears as if G4S has screwed up.
Olympic Games security: May to make urgent statement
Home Secretary Theresa May is to make an urgent statement in the Commons on Olympics security, after it emerged an extra 3,500 troops were needed.
The defence secretary had been due to submit a written statement but Labour tabled an urgent question to the House.
The troops are in addition to 13,500 already agreed, amid fears contractor G4S may not have enough trained staff.
G4S said it had “encountered some delays” in processing applicants through the final stages of training.
Keith Vaz, the Labour chairman of the Home Affairs Select Committee, tabled an urgent question to the government on Olympics security after earlier saying he would write to the home secretary for an explanation.
He said he was “deeply concerned” that G4S were unable to deliver their contract and that “the Home Office have left contingency plans to the last moment”.
Mr Vaz said he had also asked G4S’s chief executive and chairman to appear before the committee next week.

Cigarette vending machines banned in England

Vending machines are expected to be banned in Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland in February
The sale of tobacco from vending machines has been banned in England, with anyone caught selling cigarettes in machines facing a fine of £2,500.
The Department of Health said the ban had been introduced to prevent under-age sales to children and to support adults who were trying to quit.
The rest of the UK is expected to implement a similar ban next year.
Some pub landlords say it is a further threat to a livelihood that has already been damaged by the smoking ban.
But Cancer Research and the British Heart Foundation have welcomed the move.
According to the Department of Health, nearly all adult smokers started smoking before they turned 18.
‘Unsupervised’
Of the children who regularly smoke, 11% buy their cigarettes from vending machines.

Opinion:
I had my first cigarette at eight because I stole a pack of 10 de Reszke from my father’s shop. Why? Because stealing was wrong, because I knew smoking was wrong.
Boys do that.
This move is not going to make any difference. Kids will smoke, simply because they are not allowed to.
The 11% who buy their cigarettes from vending machines only do it because you made buying them from the shop illegal.
With the machines gone, they will find more inventive ways to get their cigarettes. You won’t stop kids smoking as long as you say, “you can’t!”
It’s the same with booze, it’s the same with cannabis, it’s the same with anything you make illegal.
Don’t believe me?
Go on, make chocolate, coca cola or coffee illegal and watch the consumption sky rocket.
Honestly, you guys have no idea of human nature.
