A Bloody Disgrace

Racism has no place on the field

“after Luis Suarez refused to shake hands with Patrice Evra”

Opinion:

Suarez should have been removed from the field and banned from the game until the matter had been resolved.

His conduct was bloody disgraceful and totally unacceptable. Made even worse by the fact that he was permitted to play reinforcing that it’s okay to be a racist to all present, including the mascots who accompany players on to the field.

People who play sports, particularly at this public level, should be deemed to be above this type of attitude and act like the public representatives they are. Footballers are heroes, and should be seen as heroes; not displaying the cowardice of Suarez.

Suarez has already served an eight match ban after the earlier incident. This time the ban should be for LIFE!

The game doesn’t need him or his shit!
